I started playing The Battle Cats on July 22, 2026.
It happened to be during my summer vacation, when the game had a period with reduced energy costs. Because of that, I was able to progress through the early stages very quickly. I cleared Chapter 1 of Empire of Cats just one day after starting the game.
I kept progressing at a fast pace and reached Chapter 2 of Into the Future after about one month.
However, around this point, I started running into a problem.
My progress through the stages was getting ahead of my cats’ levels and overall development. In particular, I really wanted to unlock the Manic Cats, but I couldn't clear the stages needed to get them. Eventually, I found myself stuck.
Switching to a Slower Pace

So instead of constantly pushing forward, I decided to slow down and focus on clearing the Legend Stages while developing my cats.
As of September 24, 2026, I have cleared the first set of Legend Stages and completed Chapter 3 of Into the Future.
I have also made progress with the Manic Cats. At this point, Manic Titan is the only one I have left to unlock.
I've only been playing The Battle Cats for about two months, but I've experienced both sides of the game: rushing ahead as quickly as possible and slowing down to focus on leveling and building my collection.
